If it's not in our database, then we don't know about it. We will ALWAYS answer these e-mails by tel ling you to check the database.

The editors are neutral on the subject, but do what hundreds do and ask your fellow travelers for their opinions on the Hostels.com Virtual Bulletin Board.

Starting a new hostel?
Many people write to ask us how to start a hostel of their own and we simply can't offer much information. We don't operate hostels -- we keep track of them for our database and stay in them as travelers.
