It was a hotel and not a hostel. But with hostel prices. So very nice in deed! But there was no possibility to cook except for a microwave in the room. Marja, from Sweden ~ 1st May 2012

Great little gem in the heart of a shoppers paradise. If you are on a shopping trip and want to spend little money on accommodations then 6th Ave Inn is your place. The hotel is situated in a central location near great shopping, and the Hill for all you gay folks. My one complaint was the water temperature. Other than that I had no problems. The staff and restaurant employees were helpful and friendly. If you are a military member you get a free breakfast which is a plus. Senecca, from USA ~ 23rd Feb 2012

Overall it's a good place to stay. However, on our 1st day, we had to turn downtown Seattle for more than one hour to find this hotel since it was not AAE Hostels as mentioned on the booking references...But the hotel was named 6Avenue Inn so how were we supposed to guess that if nobody inform us? Moreover, the reception told us it wasn't the first time people were complaining about it. The location was great, the staff was really nice and helpful. The attached restaurant has great breakfast. We were VERY happy with our hotel choice especially since we got a super rate by booking through hostels.com This is a hotel but with a hostel price. I think we paid a third of the rate for walk-in guests (on a sold out weekend) I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience Seattle on a budget. Ron, from USA ~ 31st Aug 2011
