Awesome Hostel, absolutely nothing to complain about. The only comment is that the shower had very little ammount of water, kind of annoying. Definetly nothing compared to the other features of the hostel. If you go to St Barbara stay there. Thiago, from Brazil ~ 15th Mar 2013

You can only stay in dorms if you're a student. Since I'm not, I was offered to stay in a private. It cost me the double. free Internet access. Breakfast is not included. Downtown, greyhound and amtrak stations are 20 min walk. Julio, from Portugal ~ 14th Mar 2013

This hostel isnt really a good one. first of all you have to pay over 10% extra fee of your booked price. its not really clean in this house, also one of the two bathrooms was closed. good things are, that its really close to the clubs and shops of sant bar and that you have your free parkinglot. It's a really amazing hostel. Everyone is very nice, the hostel is very clean, and really close to the beach. The only thing I'd point out is that the street next to it, through where the directions tell you to go, doesn't go straight through from the train station to the hostel, so you need to take a detour around the block to get there. If you don't know that, you may think you got lost somewhere along the way. Juliana, from Brazil ~ 4th Nov 2012

I could have stayed in a hotel for what I paid. The (bunk) bed I slept in was falling apart, and there was not even a functional sink. I had to brush my teeth in the kitchen sink. The pillow was like those old airline pillow. I was even charged a fee for using my ATM card to pay which put a one night stay for one over $100. The staff was nice, but this was my worst hostel experience so far. I found a better one that is right by the train station which I will use next time. Michael, from USA ~ 21st Oct 2012

Good place in general, only annoying thing was lack of water in the shower (both heat, water pressure etc.). Kind of irritating after a long day of hiking. But friendly staff, the rooms were completely fine for a hostel. Rannveig, from Norway ~ 19th Oct 2012

Good people and atmosphere down there, a bit expensive though,, but I guess it's because of the town! Aurelien, from France ~ 17th Oct 2012

Only disadvantage of that hostel is, that if you have your room right next to the common room, it can be really loud...esp when you are exhausted from the day and you wanna go to bed early. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 8am. Anne, from Germany ~ 14th Oct 2012
