ACBB Hostel Niagara in Austin, Canada

Love the friendly staff. They had good advise about the area. I stayed for one night, but it could have easily become more if I didn't have to catch a flight. It was a nice stay. Patrick the owner, was helpful and his positive manner made my trip memorable. I would definately book another stay in the near future. The location of the hotel in the heart of Downtown Niagara Falls made my trip convenient and there is an easy 10 min walk to the bus station from the hotel. A really comfortable atmosphere, with open minded people. Excellent consultation and warm welcome. Tough it is like a 30-40-minute walk from the train station. Take a cab for 10-12 bucks. Also you should plan on staying for 2 nights, because there is more to see than just the falls.

Thanks for staying with us and thanks pointing out even in winter Niagara is at least a couple days for backpackers to visit properly. (Summer it's at least three days) Find the real Niagara. Do not do the ridiculous day trips from Toronto or the the typical tourist stuff. Let us help you find the real Niagara. The hikes along one of the world's greatest rivers alone are amazing and not touristy alone. Yes we are a 25 minute walk from the VIA Rail and Greyhound Stations However there are very convenient local bus options. We are also a 10 minute walk from the Niagara GO Transit stop which is the cheapest and fastest way to Niagara and our hostel from Toronto The best part about our very quiet, very convenient location is that we are only a 5 minute walk to the waterfalls and a 5 minute walk to the entertainment district for your night time partying.

This hostel was very nice.The free breakfast in the morning was good, but you have to wake up early to get those yummy TimHortan muffins! I went to Niagara Falls for New Years, and was worried that the noise of fellow guests would keep me awake at night, but it was no problem at all- the owner was great at controlling the noise Hilary, from Canada ~ 4th Jan 2012
