1) There was no place to leave my key when I left in the morning, and no one to give it to, so I just put it on the stove. A drop-box would be helpful. 2) The lockable storage cupboards under the bunkbeds: great idea! You could put the biggest kind of backpack in there. I was in London, Ont. for two weeks recently and stayed at this hostel as well as a couple of the other low price accommodation options in the city and would have to say that paying an extra $20 or so per night for a cheap motel is not worth it if all you need is a place to sleep. The woman who runs the place is very friendly and goes out of her way to make her guests feel at home. I appreciated getting upgraded to a private room when there was a problem with the dorm room I had reserved. My one major complaint was that internet was down when I was there - which had been a factor in my decision to stay there in the first place. I understand these things happen, but it was a major inconvenience. Another thing was that I had hoped the hostel would be closer to the downtown, but it was ok because I had a car. Otherwise, a nice place and I would stay there again.

The Intenet service provider had an issue that was resolved the next day. Our hostel is a five minute walk from the downtown. Check google maps.
