AM 6 is a hotel at hostel prices. Everything was brand new and clean, but most importantly, it was all well thought out. The bathroom had no window, but instead of just having a fan in the ceiling, it had a complete heating and cooling system. The only complaint I had about the bed were that the pillows were too hard, but that's a personal thing. Sam, the manager, was incredibly helpful and friendly. This is our go to place when in Taipei. The hostel is not staffed 24-7, but we contacted the staff ahead of time and they met us after hours. We Never had any problems so we did not need anything from the staff. The location is essentially in the Shilin Night Market so there is lots to do. It is also close to the Red line metro so you get downtown pretty quick as well. Paul, from USA ~ 27th Dec 2012

Incredible place. When my girlfriend and I saw the pictures online we didn't believe them, but ironically all of the other places we tried for were booked so we figured we'd give it a shot. We were greeted by Sam who couldn't have been more professional. When we got to the room we were floored. Completely new, all modern room with a huge beautiful glass bathroom and comfy bed. It was like a really nice hotel at a hostel price. Great for couples. We can't say enough good things about this place. Clifford, from USA ~ 15th Nov 2012
