ANZ Guesthouse in Austin, Turkey

A really good choice. Dorm is downstairs, so it stayed cooler during the hot nights of August. Nice common area downstairs, great roof terrace, nice buffet breakfast (ask if it costs extra), nightly BBQ dinners, free bike rentals and free shuttle service to Ephesus twice a day. The kebab restaurant two blocks away has great meals for under 10 TL. My only suggestion is to add electrical outlets to the terrace, because it's a great place to hang out and do some work/browsing. One of the rooms we booked had bugs in the bed. We were able to switch rooms though and the new one was clean. Both rooms were quite dusty and made our allergies act up. Audrey, from USA ~ 10th Nov 2011

One of my favorite hostels ever.Harry and his family are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are really nice and the food is to die for!I never wanted to leave this hostel.The bikes are free to use, he has guidebooks in several languages for Ephesus, and there are several, chill areas to hang-out and read or get to know fellow travelers.
