ABSOLUTE BEST HOSTEL!!! My brother and I travelled for 16 days all over NZ, and stayed at over 10 different hostels, and this one was by far the best! Incredibly friendly staff (family run hostel), awesome bar with food downstairs with local beers and wine, and relatively large comfortable rooms. I would HIGHLY reccomend this place to anyone travelling through the area.

What a great little place. Great location, really helpful and genuinely friendly staff (even lent us sun cream). Rooms clean and spacious and well presented. Bathrooms clean, with hairdryers and fresh flowers! I would recommend this place to anyone, unless you're looking for a party hostel!

An amazing hostel- more like a hotel and the bathrooms were wonderful! Excellently equipped kitchen too - though the kitchen opened at 6am there was no power until 7am when they turned it on - those leaving early wanting to make porridge be warned! Other than that small thing. Fan-bloody-tastic!

Yeh It was brilliant there. By far the nicest place i've stayed in so far on both islands. Staff are great, Probably the cleanest place i've been, and the facilities are great, eg TV room, kitchen
