I wassad when I first arrive so happy for firstnight then on second night someone stolen my wallet and passport. I had very diffi ult to deal wih police nothing they can do. I had to return back to romania. I didnt get any chance of good time in new york city. My plan was for 1 week in new york city. I only stayed 2 days . It was painful for me. My stay here was awesome! It was in a very nice part of Queens that had everything I needed at reach. Louis was wonderful and down to earth. Our room was comfortable and spacious enough. Never ever had to wait in line for the bathroom. I highly recommend it. Noelia, from USA ~ 27th Apr 2013

This place is indeed unique. You won´t feel like you´re staying at a hostel but at the house of a person who is very nice and will try to do anything in his power to make you have a pleasant time. This is not a hostel. I consider it a CouchSurfing home that you pay for, with a lot of CouchSurfers. When I came there I thought I was mistaken because I only saw a regular house, with garbage in the front lawn. The address on hostels.com is incorrect, real address is 47-09 43rd Avenue, Queens. I didn't like the atmosphere (stange visitors, some slept on couches) and so did my room mate. We both booked for 3 days but left after 1. The owner is actually a nice guy but I only met him when I left Dennis, from Netherlands ~ 11th Nov 2012

Louis is a great host!!! He knows how make you feel at home. We loved staying at his place. It's really close from the city, the subway. It was the perfect place to stay. Don't forget to go on the roof top! Yuna, from France ~ 31st Aug 2012

Great place and nice people!!!!!!! It's not in manhatton but it' not problem at all. Louis is so kind. He would do everything for the people who stay in his hostel. Staying with Louis is not an experience to be missed! He is a wonderful, helpful host.The neighborhood is safe and everything you would need is less than 2 blocks away. We caught the 7 train for a short ride into Manhattan everyday. Shari, from USA ~ 8th Jun 2012
