The hostel is in a very good location, perfect for a night out in Newcastle. The only downside to the Hostel were the staff, they question everything you do and look for every possible reason to fine you money. Matthew, from England ~ 19th Mar 2012

Really near the railway and bus station. good location. clean, convenient. but the radiators do not work well, they will automatically stop working after about half an hour. so it's not very warm in the room. Yiting, from China ~ 9th Jan 2012

Das Hostel liegt mitten im Zentrum von Newcastle, man braucht nur 2-3 min um den Hauptbahnhof zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich uns hilfsbereit, sie haben gute Tipps gegeben, wo man abends ausgehen kann und was man tagsüber sich ansehen sollte. Neben Tee und Kaffe, was alle Hostels/Hotels in England anbieten, hat das Albatross Hostel auch Toast und Butter angeboten. Zusammengefasst ist dieses Hostel sehr empfehlenswert. staff is really friendly and helpful. The room was nice, but the bed made lots of noise whenever i moved. It's right in the city centre and 3 min from the train station. I would definitely stay here again. Andrea, from Mexico ~ 9th Jun 2011
