This hostel is big and actually a bit hotel-like for better or worse. The service is not very personal, but it is sufficient. They had two computers with internet, that were occupied all the time. Very nice big rooms. In the common-room, they had a piano!

good location for walking to vienna...the directions given to the hostel are not the best and it is a bit of a walk from the subway, however would definitely go back to this hostel! Loved the novelty keys!!! Vienna is gorgeous!

Overall turned out to be a good hostel even if my ratings don't suggest that - a little difficult to find from the initial directions, the rooms could have done with lockable bag storage or something? and it was a shame there was no real sense of a communal space as the lights were dead in the common room! That said it was a good location with easy access by tram or walk to most attractions and enjoyed my time there.

very nice hostel; nice, close to the centre and cheap.

This is a typical hostel. Dull but comfortable rooms. Pretty well located - it takes about 15-20 mins on foot to the centre of Vienna (tram is obviously quicker). It was fine - not fantastic but definitely a good safe choice. It is part of a chain of hostels, so you get a discount if you book through them for another of their hostels (only 5% though).

More than 1 key should be avaible for each room. And lockers in the rooms.

You have to make your own bed the first day, which is a little random, but otherwise, your average hostel. Just a dorm during the school year turned over for vacation time. Only one computer in the common room, which makes competition quite fierce.

This is a dumpy hostel in a bad part of town. It's dirty-- there was even urine on the toilet seat when we arrived. Security was non-existent. Anyone can ask for any key without having to have their IDs checked, and we ended up having to check out two days early because of people screaming in the hallway and trying to break into our room in the middle of the night, despite phoning complaints to the reception. Avoid if at all possible. NOT recommended.
