i have been there twice. Its off the beaten track but still close to everything. You can walk to the colisium and the metro is close too. I would stay again.

Great place to stay, big rooms, shared bathroom was always clean. Relatively easy to find, very close to metro and not far from Colesseum. Good breakfast choices. Shame about the surly breakfast server - all the other staff were always friendly and helpful and cheerful. Would definitely stay again.

Best breakfast in Rome! It's a 15 minute walk to the Colosseo. It's close enough to other attractions to walk or metro, and far enough away to avoid tourist crowds when you need to wind down. There's a market down the street where you can by picnic or dinner ingredients and using the kitchen to make some meals will save a lot of euros. The staff was great and very helpful with local insight. We will absolutely stay here again!

Alice in Wonderland is really a perfect stay. I really like the hostel and how everything is made. Just 1 min to the metro, you have a supermarket and a great pizzeria around the corner and the hostel is very nice with friendly stuff. breakfast is small, but ok and everythink is cleaned ok. you get free WLAN-access and you can use a computer for 1€/hour. The Hostel is on the fifth floor (144 steps!). The ascalator is a bit strange, can only carry one person at a time and ists often broken, but

In a quiet part of town but it is right next to a metro stop and not too far of a walk down to the Colosseum. Maxi was a great help with the map and suggestions, showing where the cheap but good places to eat were and where the best sights were. Served a might good breakfast. Lovely little terrace that everybody could go to and chill. Living room with satellite tv and internet. Kitchen for cooking your own meals (supermarket right around the corner) and a fun receptionist with a great person

The location of Alice in Wonderland is excellent. It is about 25 minutes by foot to the coliseum, and it is a nice walk. There is also a metro station near by the B&B, and buses.
Kathy was very friendly, but unfortunately the other staff was not as friendly and welcoming as her. The room was beautiful (the green one), but the shared bathroom was not as clean as the room. Also, bring your own toilet paper :)

Located in good neighborhood--found some great local resturants with help of staff. Close to subway station. Close to ancient Roman ruins.
Shared bathroom especially floor very unclean. Towels and bed linens threadbare and worn. No bar soap provided. Poor general maintanence.--ie ceiling fan in our room very loud, door hardward loose on our door, could be a lovely patio but the patio furniture to sit on is broken.

This was a wonderful place to stay for our trip to Rome. The hosts are very helpful with anything you may need. The hostel is close to public transportation and is very clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!
