Location was very convenient. Took the A21 airport bus directly to Chungking Mansion. The bus stop is approx a min walk away from Chungking Mansion and whole journey took approx 50 min. The single room was small as it is throughout the whole of HK but the room and ensuite bathroom was clean in general. TV and kettle was also included in the room. Outside the hostel there are a lot weird guy trying to lead you to other hostels or selling fake watches. Just ignore them. Inside the hostel it is quiet and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small, but OK if you want only to sleep. The location is simply perfect. Wifi and TV are OK. When you arrive at the building, you just wanna run away, there are weird guy trying to convince to go with them to a different hostel, people who wanna sell you fake watches... Don't run away! Once you get in Apple hostel, it's really quiet, and clean. the rooms are really small, but comfortable. The staff is really nice and helpful. I recommand this place if you stay in Hong-Kong, despite the look of the building. And the location is just awesome. Léonor, from France ~ 9th Mar 2012

Definitely one of the nicer places in Chungking Mansions, the room didn't have a window, but it got cleaned every day and the staff was friendly and paid a lot of attention who entered the place, so that no-one could linger who didn't belong there. The fire alarm went on in the middle of the night a couple of times due to people who had been smoking in the rooms. OK, its only 25€ per night. Right in the centre of Kowloon. I stayed there for 9 nights. The rooms are tiny, the AC is way too loud and there are cockroaches every day, though the place is clean. Cheapest single in HK, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a spotless room w/ AC, a ceiling fan, high speed internet, and a private bathroom/shower.The room is a little small, but hey, it's Hong Kong.The bed was long enough for me and I'm 6'3".I didn't have a laptop with me but the front desk lent me one.Great service and facilities overall.The only problem is that it's in Chungking Mansions which have tons of hawkers downstairs and long lines for the elevators, but once again, it's Hon Austin James, from USA ~ 25th Nov 2011
