The location was very nice to access downtown, airport and central sightseeing spot. Some people was noisy, but not too much.There are lots of people from various contuties, so it's good to have a chat with varioud people. Hajin, from South Korea ~ 25th Apr 2013

It was a very friendly and accomodating hostel. The spaces were very clean and welcoming, making me want to chill out in the public recreation areas. The staff were excellent and very helpful, knowing my name made me feel very welcome!! Would deffinately stay again if I'm ever in that area of london. Thomas, from England ~ 18th Apr 2013

If you are looking for a friendly, party atmosphere then you should chill out at the best hostel in London, Astor Hyde Park. You cant find a staff member that isn't friendly, the place is cleaned thoroughly twice daily and i never worry about the security of myself or things. The place is close to everything and including tube stations, supermarkets and massive tourist hotspots. There is one staff member Dan a Kiwi i think, who's professionalism and overall knowledge on London is unrivaled. Owen, from Australia ~ 19th Mar 2013

Pretty good hostel.Location is excellent, right next to royal albert hall and hyde park.Otherwise, relatively average experience. Cleaner than some hostels I've stayed in, and fairly secure, not too expensive.Wi-fi did not work, however, even in the lounge areas. Pretty good in general. It's a little bit of walk (10 min) away from Gloucester station, but very close to Hyde Park. The staff are friendly. The rooms are clean, neat and not too small. The bathroom is ok. Guests are agreeable and fun. Good experience. Yuqing, from China ~ 14th Dec 2012
