I loved my stay here.Gabriela was so nice and relaxed.She let me use the shower & bathroom & hangout as long as I wanted until my midnight train without charging me.It's true that there is a lot of hookers and drug use in the area but it is only a 2 minute walk to the metro.I looked at it as entertainment watching all the unique people in the area.So if you are not a princess you can't do better than Athens House. kevin, from USA ~ 28th Aug 2011

I will not recommend this hostel to anyone. The hostel is very old, dirty and worn. The staff was very unpleasant and I really do think they were on drogs... Helle, from Denmark ~ 13th Aug 2011

Wouldnt stay here if you are planning on spending a lot of time in Athens.Was fine for us because we were just looking for a cheap bed to crash in for the night. P.S. No air conditioning or towels. Bad area with hookers outside door. Kyndra, from USA ~ 20th Jun 2011

We booked two rooms with 3 beds in each, but we had only 5 beds in one room, without bedsheets!!! Terribly and disgusting. Rooms are durty. Staff is strange. Anna, from Russia ~ 22nd Jun 2011
