the hotel´s location is really bad! don´t go there if you want to go out at night. however the hostel doesn´t seem to attract a crowd who goes out a lot. the staff is absolutely brilliant! they´ll help you out with everything! very clean place, but the beds aren´t very good! be aware that the circumbaikal railroad does not always run even if you have checked the day before! check in the morning otherwise you might spend 7 hours in a train for nothing (going from irkutsk to sl... and back) l

really great ostel, the lovely natasha goes out of her way for all her customers and speaks russian, english and german to boot. there's also a pickup at the train station. the only downside is the location, which isn't very central. but everything else is brilliant.
