Nice little place with a friendly attmosphere on the outskirts of town. It's a bit of a walk to the centre, but there's a great supermarket 5mins away. We stayed in a private double which was nice and roomy and the air-con worked well. Cable TV in our room was good and there is a bigger one in the room next to the kitchen. The only big-dorm option, the cheapest option, is in a treehouse. It is a super-cool treehouse, but, if you're just looking for a place to have a bed and a shower without any hassles - or God forbid air conditioning - this is not the place. The showers are not really near the dorms, relatively speaking, and the place is not exactly wheelchair accessible (don't know why they checked that), but it is a super-cool place with a pleasant, in-house 'bar' anda great place for fish across the street Read Owner Comments Austin, from USA ~ 21st Apr 2012

It's a very basic hostel but probably the best place available in David. Your experience there will fully depend on the people there when you are. I can not comment on the rooms, since I stayed in the Bamboo house which depends on your personal preference, if you like it or not. I can imagine a lot of backpackers liking the idea to sleep in a "bamboo house dorm" in the nature. I personally didn't mind it, but I wonder how it is when the weather turns ugly since it is quite exposed. Andre, from Germany ~ 6th Jan 2012

The location is a quick cab ride from the bus terminal and on our way to Costa Rica we were able to grab a Frontera bus a block from the property. Pool, clean rooms, warm showers and a place serving awesome fish across the street. The bars are a five minute walk and worth a few hours. Stefanie, from USA ~ 26th Sep 2011

If you need to go to David for some reason, this is the place to be. Be sure to eat the $2.50 fish in the tiny restaurant across the street!! But if you dont need to be in David.. dont bother with it, go for another day in Panama City or even better go to Bocas del Toro, Boquete or San Blas. Hostel beds are uncomfortable. The place is tiny so dont expect anything to happen there, but overall its not bad: they have a kitchen, computers, a pool, a tree house, friendly and very helpful staff, etc..
