This is a fairly decent place for the price, but make no mistake - if you need WiFi this is NOT the place to be.This hostel is located in a dodgy part of town, damned-nigh difficult to find, but at least is close to an U-Bahn. The main room is loud as hell, you'll find yourself surrounded by long-term and/or homeless people staying there, you have to walk up three flights of stairs, and the bathrooms are filthy. The kitchen is decent, but closes at 10pm. But as per Kreuzberg I guess it's okay. Scott, from USA ~ 2nd Feb 2013

For sure the best hostel I stayed in my life! There is a very nice common place where we can meet people, the bathrooms, the kitchen and the rooms are very big and they have a pretty decoration. It`s not so close to the principal attractions of Berlin, but the night life there is very good, and it`s very close to the tour of arts on street in the city. A nice hostel and the location was great right next to U-bahn! Staff could've been more helpful, it was a bit hard to get contact with them sometimes. Also in our 16-bed dorm people weren't too considerate late at night if someone else was sleeping, but that might just be bad luck! Anyways I'd recommend it if you want to meet people and be situated right in the heart of Kreuzberg! Nice place, most of the staff is very friendly except for one guy. Pretty much only thing I found wrong with the place was that there was a party going on so it would have been hard to sleep unless u have earplugs. So bring your earplugs! Steingrimur, from Iceland ~ 28th Nov 2012

The place is more appropriate for those who are young and travel in group or individualy... ithere is special freeway atmosphere and oppotunity to make some more new friends sharing time together in the guest-room or lobby. Very social hostel in a great, eclectic neighborhood.I didn't realize the area (and Berlin in general) was so party-heavy, so this is a pretty youth-oriented hostel, but I was not treated differently (I am thirty-six).Plenty of cool cafes and great places to eat nearby.Friendly staff, and they have a safe to lock up your real valuables, as well as room lockers.No breakfast, but there are groceries nearby to get food.
