Good Location, but the staff were quite rude and reception were very disorganised and unhelpful. When we eventually got the room we booked it was not clean, stains on the sheets, fridge not cleaned out and shower and toilet facilities were not cleaned regularly the place was generally just dirty. When we complained about the cleanliness we were told "this is a hostel what do you expect" We have stayed in a number of hostels around Australia and all others were cleaned to a much higher standard a

We had a HORRIBLE experience at this hostel. We reserved a 4-bed female dorm and were place in a room with males. When we complained about it we were told that our reservation was actually only a request and that "nothing can be guaranteed." We had a live roach in our room, and when we went to tell the staff they said that "didn't necessarily mean it wasn't clean." The staff was very rude and unhelpful and did not attempt to make any amends for our problems.

I was very pleased with the accomodation at Bohemia Central. I especially liked the activities, cheap meals, air-con in the rooms and mini fridge. I would recommend it in a heartbeat.
