Really enjoyed staying at Mr Bongs. The staff are so nice and helpful. The downstairs bar is just perfect for going down and having a drink and a chat with either the staff or other tourists like myself. Really good location as well Gary, from Wales ~ 19th Apr 2013

Mr. Bong is a wonderful host. He speaks English very well as well as does his staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful when setting up tours and recommendations on things to do and eat. When I go back to Seoul I will be staying here! Samuel, from USA ~ 28th Feb 2013

We were staying in a private double ensuite. To our surprise there was a hot plate and washing machine in our room which was very handy! But we were in the building beside the main building so never saw anyone else from the hostel except in the pub at night when claiming our free beer. Free breakfast would've been more appreciated but the bar was nice to have right on our door step. The location was excellent. The area was busy for nightlife and shopping. Bong House is a nice, laid-back, and fun hostel in a great location. Mr. Bong and the staff are very friendly and helpful. And you can't beat free beer in Bong Bar for each night you stay. The bar has a lot of character, a pool table, darts, and travelers from all over the world. I've stayed here numerous times and have never had a problem or complaint. A great value for your money. Despite the hostel being a slight bit of a walk from the subway station, it has many attractive aspects. In my experiences there, the guests have all be really respectful during the quiet hours, and the staff always pleasant. I've never had trouble with anything with my stay there. During the last visit, the doors were left open to allow air circulation into the hostel, which worried me a bit (even though Korea is a relatively safe country).
