C'est une capsule hotel classique.

Alot of people smoke there which I did not care for. They kick you out at 10 whether or not you come back in the evening for another night. Not much personal space (because you sleep in box, obviously). Bringing ear plugs is a good idea because of proximity to so many other people.

Although the staff was strict about check-in time and keeping keys when going out andchecking back in, I found the staff very friendly, but my knowledge (limited) of Japanese might have helped communication. Anyway, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a good place to stay in Akihabara. Very convenient to Electric Town.

Generally it was alright, but the guy at the reception was probably the first Japanese who wasn't very nice. It got better the next day. The capsules are clean as well as the showers. The air condicioning in the capsule seemed either not to work or be non existant. It was a bit to warm and I didn't sleep well. There was enough space for me (170cm) not enough for my boyfriend (190cm) though. Tall people might like to reconsider staying there especially if you have many plans for the next day.

This was not as bad as I thought it was going to be.. more of a horizontal porta loo than a coffin. You just need to be well organised as there is quite a system with all the lockers an keys and the check in time is at 5pm. But it was fine for the price and the bathroom was good and super clean with a real shower. A good experience for one night in Electric Town!

You have got to stay in a capsule while you are in Japan!!! It was so cool and I had the best sleep of my life! I wish that our capsules would have had glass doors and not just straw blinds so that we could have watched tv without disturbing others, also I would have liked to have had a common room for everyone to hang out...we didn't get to meet anyone staying there. I would have also liked to have had as nice of a bath and shower area as the men had. :)
