My initial thought when I was checking in was regret. But it was very safe, close to the old part of the city. The staff was helpful and friendly. Other travelers were social. I liked this place. I will return. Reece, from USA ~ 25th Jul 2011

Oxford is a small town, so the hostel is close to almost everything. The room is reasonable. Toilets/Showers are very clean, but face basins are difficult to use because hot water and cold water are seperate taps, and you have to keep pressing the taps. Wei, from Australia ~ 11th Jul 2011

Great that it had free wi-fi, computer access and free breakfast.If you are looking for a good nights sleep though, this is not the place as it is placed over top of a night club in the middle of town, which is open most nights during the summer period.Hostel provides free ear-plugs, which helps a little.Owner is friendly, but the rest of the staff could have been a bit more hospitible.
