I stayed in a private room which was really basic but if you're going to stay in new york city, all you need is a bed- you'll be out all day anyway! My room was clean and quiet, I barely saw anyone around and never had to wait to use the facilities. Wifi was terrible but there's a Starbucks on every corner, use theirs. Fantastic location, I found staff in general to be helpful, except for one particular staff who was a racist douche, but don't let him affect you. No internet in rooms, only available in common room which closes at 11 pm. Unfriendly staff and no atmosphere. Loud guests at night make sleeping quite impossible. Not worth the $60,- a night (shared dorm). Anna, from Netherlands ~ 19th May 2012
