Clink78 in Halle, Anglie

I wish they'd offer Wifi for free again and that the key cards won't stop working suddenly! I got stuck outside my room twice after a shower. But otherwise it's a great hostel, close to a tube station. Great character, staff and atmosphere. Ruchira, from Sri Lanka ~ 10th Apr 2012

The hostel was fine, just not very well linked with King's Cross, as there is no bus going to the station in that street and the beds in the room were too close and without a light for each bed or place where to storage the luggage inside the room! We have stayed in several hostels and this one was BY FAR the best.If you are ever in London, choose Clink78, we promise, you WONT be sorry!There are many showers each with individual locking doors, and there is always hot water no matter how long you shower.There are plenty of bathrooms.The free breakfast is big and delicious.The rooms are comfy and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a funky vibe.Pick this place! I had to put my laguage in the lagguage room and when I arrived in the evening, the stuff would have placed all bags in an other room without asking the owner of the bags. The result: A mass like I have not seen it before, many many stolen things amongs which was my beautifull jacket and angry guests, trying to get back their belongings. One of the worst places ever! I was given a room in the basement with no proper ventilation, for a second i thought i was heading to a prison cell! Rooms are dull and stinky... The security at the door will stop almost everyone to check if they have alcohol in their hand bags just to ensure the hostel sells alcohol in the CLOSED bar! Abed, from Lebanon ~ 30th Sep 2011

I have been in many hostels in my life but this one is by far the best. Not only does it have much character (it is a former prison) but everyhing else is just perfect and well thought out.
