The staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt very safe in this hostel and I would recommend it to any woman traveling solo in Mexico city.

USE THE LOCKERS if you stay there. A small bag with my passport, money and all my cards was stolen from my bed the first night I stayed there. The management tried to discourage me from filing a police report and then were upset when I did. I did so because it said on the American embassy’s website to report a passport theft and I wanted to increase my chances of being issued a new passport so I could eventually return home. The night management was very emotional about her fear the police wou

The neighborhood is great. But it's really hard to find (they need better directions on their website) and the building is not really marked.
'Breakfast included' was kind of misleading - cheap white bread, bad coffee, and some sort of kool-aid type drink instead of juice. Yuck.
The staff were nice but didn't do a good job of making sure that folks staying there cleaned up after themselves - someone left a plate of raw meat in the kitchen which sat there for days going bad. Totally gross.

This is a good place to stay! The staff are lovely, the location is good - away from the mad rush of the city but also nicely central. It´s also 5 minutes walk to The Freda Kahlo museum.

This hostel was really quite nice, very clean, and located in a safe and fun neighborhood. The location was perfect for getting to know Coyoacan. I would really praise how quaint and peaceful the hostel is as well.
I think my only criticism was the exaggeration of the breakfast. All that was offered was bread and coffee, which did not meet my expectations.

We were in a room for 2 people, and someone stole a trouser from our backpack (we were supposed to be the only ones with the key of the room)

nicely located hostel in coyoacan. my room lacked a window, and was a little loud being adjacent to the living room. get a room on the second floor if possilbe. staff is helpful but not proactive. breakfast is mediocre at best. however it serves the purpose.

Nice neighborhood, nice house, nice people. A little bit boring, but if you want to rest when you arrive to city, it´s a very good option.

This hostel was very comfortable, very clean, very safe and the neighborhood is nice - a bit of a trip from the Centro, but that also meant away from all the craziness of Mexico City. My only complaint would be there didn't always seem to be someone at the front desk, but when there was, they were friendly and helpful.
