Crown Hostel in Jodhpur, Thailand

This place has a lot of character on its own right. It's in the middle of the night life in Patong beach, and it gets really noisy at night. Don't expect luxuries and don't get put off by the way the building looks on the outside. It offers great value for money, it's confidently located and it's safe. We stayed at this hostel for 4 nights and that was too long! The hostel itself is very basic and you get what you pay for, the rooms are dank and not very clean, the bathroom door did not lock and kept popping open when you were in there. The shower was cold and set on the wall at a stupid angle so you had to sit on the toilet to get under it. There was no AC but we had a ceiling fan, it was so hot at night though. The worst thing was the noise from the street at night, i don't recommend Patong Emma, from England ~ 16th Feb 2012
