The noise in the 7th floor was atrocious as there was a terrace on this floor, however that wasn't the problem if people stayed on it. Instead they preferred to camp out in the corrider rolling joints and shouting at each other! Also on every floor the fire doors from the staircase's did not close properly but banged shut every time.

You should take off the carpets in all floors and fix the lift because migh be dangerous. However I liked the Reception (staff very friendly) and offer about free meal at The Gaff and BBQ and friday night.

It has been really good!!! It is clean, you have activities at night, friendly staff...and in the 7th floor a terrace from where Sydney can be seen. If you are traveling by your own is a good choice.

for being in Kings Cross, it was relatively quiet, considering the amount of partying that goes on there. also clean and ensuite bathrooms were really nice.

After staying in many hostels d.lux was the cleanest hostel i have come across also in a good location. The rates are extremely good as the decor and room facilities were excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it. Mike from london
