Deco Walk Hostel | South Beach in , Amerika

I have not stayed at Deco Walk Hostel | South Beach, Miami, USA since I had to cancel my stay. in Florida. However I was disappointed by their attitude or neglicgence for not answering my cancellation mails. This was my 3rd hostel within my one week travel and I must tell you, the place has been renovated recently but that doesn't mean the place is better now. The room I was staying in was veryyy small and I can't put my bag anywhere but on my own bed to have my clothes taken... The ac was facing one of bed so clearly we couldn't turn it on, cause one of the people couldn't sleep and have the ac blowing on his face so we ended up sleeping in a very hot place. Open window? The hostel is clean and fresh, except for the bathrooms - they´re gross!!!! You have no space to put your bags, and in a 12-bedroom there is only one bathroom and one shower for everyone to share.. I stayed for Ultra weekend.That being said, the rates were a little higher than normal for a hostel but that comes with music week in Miamia.I had a problem with my reservation and it was a little annoying to get it fixed but the staff was helpful and made staying there pretty decent.It's advised that this hostel is run by people who communicate in Spanish, so if you speak it, that will help you out better.Cool people here too, never a dull moment, beds were clean, shower not so much. The Hostel has the best position ever, on Ocean Drive right in the heart of everything and nightlife! I was disappointed that there wasn't a parking and they offer a "valet" parking very expensive, but then we found a city park for 20$ a day..not too bad.. This facility is going selfish.They are converting all rooms into a 12 beds unit.Regardless how they advertised it to be, it's a four three level bunk beds, some rooms with a semi wall and a door to separate out the two sets of three level bunk beds.All shared one bathroom.I was there during this conversion and it was a mess.when people go in and out between the two sets, it's loud and caused zero quiet time.Would not go back to this place. This hostel is 5-star in all components.John, Victor, Ivan, and the rest of the staff are very professional.Hostel has all the amenities needed for a great stay with an oceanfront view.My experience was excellent, I highly encourage you stay at this hostel when traveling to Miami South Beach, FL., USA.Great breakfast, free internet computer, beds are great, room decor is astounding.Kitchen facilities are adequate, there is a bar serving drinks 24 hours a day.Thanks for a great stay.
