I would stay at the Deco Walk Hostel any time I visit South Beach Miami if I could. This is the best hostel on the beach. You can not find a better place to stay for the $. I really like the roof space! Staff was always pleasent and helpful. Common area and kitchen clean and bright. Not to mention all the Free Condoms! Beds were comfortable, flat screen in room. Bathrooms do need little update but they're ok. Staying in the 8-bed-mixed room was great experience, even though we had couple of people coming to our room middle of the night without anyone in the room knowing them. The bathrooms are never really up to par.They need to be remodled.The toilet flush pressure is really low, so I had to go downstairs to the public restroom because someone in the room had stopped up that one.When I arrive to the public one, it was a MESS. It's a very average hostel compared to others. They are not accomodating. They serve breakfast between 7am and 9am,at a time when most people are sleeping to limit serving breakfast to everyone. They close the kitchen from 11 am to noon and in the evening afte9pm, non one can usue the kitchen. The Ac is turned down so low that you freeze cold at night.
