I had a very bad experience at this hostel. Although it was clean and there were large lockers to keep your things, the hostel is VERY badly run. The 2nd night they booked someone in my bed! So I had to go into the room at midnight while people were sleeping and take my things out and move to another room. The next day was my last day and I paid for a late check out. They did not tell the cleaning crew and so all my things that I did not lock up were just thrown out. I would never stay there!!! Amber, from USA ~ 16th Mar 2012

The toilets were so bad i couldn't use them... I stayed for 2 nights and they never got cleaned the whole time i was there!! Other than that the hostel was great, i would use it again. Its like a hotel than a hostel, you barely have chance to talk to other backpackers. plus the price of internet is outrageous (8eur/hr). excellent location and very helpful staff though. since there are not much choice in helsinki id say it still worths a try. We arrived on 1th of January, maybe that was the problem. But from my point of view that is no reason why the floor in our room was dirty: means for example I found cutted nails under the table and they were definitly not mine. The male attendant who served us when we first arrived wasnt friendly at all, the place doesnt seem welcoming at all and even the bar/kitchen staff are rude. Didnt like it one bit. Best part was leaving. James, from Australia ~ 20th Jul 2011
