I'm sure it would have been nicer if they weren't in the process of remodeling but we got kicked out everyday from 10-5 because of it and there was only one bathroom for essentially everyone. Also, its up on the 5 story or so, which is nice, but its only accessible by stairs. Jacob, from USA ~ 29th May 2012

It's so hard stay where have a reform. all the hostel have beem painted. i think the hostel should be closed for reform. this was the only problem that interfered with the cleanup, the environment and facilities. João Rodrigo, from Brazil ~ 20th May 2012

I had never been to Florence and this hostel made it a great trip. Michael is very helpful with anything you need very well looked after thanks Craig, from England ~ 20th May 2012

I'm quite used to sleeping in hostels. First sight, this is not the best I've happened to see, but I have to say that it was really fun, there is a nice, multicultural atmosphere and you can meet people from all over the world. Easy and kind staff. Ideal for young people who want to visit Florence (really close to the citu centre) and meet new people! Mariangela, from Italy ~ 7th May 2012

Out of the 12 hostels I stayed at in 6 weeks, this was the worst. You are not allowed to be in in the hostel from 11am-4pm since they're "cleaning." There are only TWO washrooms for the entire hostel of about 30 people so loooooong waits to pee or shower. Zero lockers or any security at all. Barely any electrical outlets available. We were given blankets without duvet covers or flat sheets so super unhygienic. Plus, we were charged 2 euros/person/night as a "city tax" but the other hostel w Christy, from Canada ~ 8th Feb 2012

If you are thinking about going in winter "The heating of rooms does not work" Analia, from Argentina ~ 24th Dec 2011

Not enough bathrooms! Stayed in the low season when it wasn't particularly crowded and still constantly had to wait to use the bathroom while people were showering. No real place to hang out except the tiny kitchen (which is nice and fully stocked for cooking though). Can't access WiFi from the rooms. Great location though the directions on the site are way off. 5 flights of stairs to get to the hostel. Free internet on one computer in the "common room." Shoshana, from USA ~ 22nd Dec 2011

Wasn't like a traditional hostel, was more like a big apartment with all the rooms turns into dorms. There was a kitchen, but the individual rooms didnot lock, there were 2 bathrooms for the entire hostel (maybe 20/30 people?) It worked fine for my purposes, left at 3am for the airport and didn't need to use the showers. The staff was very helpful, carried my bag upstairs (it was on the 3rd floor), and called a taxi for me. Not glamorous, no activities organized by the hostel, but a place to sle Lillian, from USA ~ 5th Aug 2011
