Exford Hotel in Amsterdam, Australia

Its right in China town. The walls to the streets are thin so sleep was not really peaceful. It was really loud through outvote night. Showers went that good either it was too hot or not really warm enough. Beds were ok, clean room with a small locker for your things. Was ok for the 4 nights I stayed and really cheap but I wouldn't recommend it for longer trips. Celine, from Germany ~ 4th Oct 2011

We had so much fun here! The bar downstairs had so much character, and the upstairs bar was very classy and a nice retreat for the beginning of a night. The staff were awesome and the people staying there were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again! Caitlin, from Australia ~ 16th Jan 2012

This hostel is located in a very strategic area of Melbourne. It is 24 hr reception which is good for backpackers like us. Anyway, due to security doors that need access card to open, the doors are so heavy that make 'slamming' sounds some time from careless tenants which is really annoyed especially during night time.
