Flushing YMCA in Novy York, Amerika

I stayed here for 5 days. They gave me a room with three beds, even though I was travelling solo, so it was nice. There was wifi on the common areas, even though I would have preferred wifi in the rooms as well. This is really a community center of sorts, where the residents come to use the sauna / gym / pool facilities, and holiday camps for children were run, so it is not a usual hotel or hostel in that sense. The location is pretty bad! It takes more than 50 min to get to Manhattan (ok, I knew it). Besides, this district is a little bit nasty. The room was absolutely warm and the aircon didn't work out properly. That made me feel pretty bad. The cleanliness of the showers could be better. The staff was helpful in general, except whenever I've checked out, whose guy was not interested in at all! I had to ask him once more if everything was fine and checkout confirmed. No reaction!
