Staff upgraded our rooms from a shared bathroom to a private both times we stayed here. That was a pleasant surprise and we were very grateful for that. This hostel is close to everything, including the Termini. My only issue is that the rooms were cold and the water was cold as well. The shower head in one of our rooms was broken and kept sliding down as you were showering. Also, they offer free wifi and breakfast, but thats it really. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The heating was good. There was only one bathroom to share between 10 people. Having to wait till past midnight to take a shower is not fun and there was no hot water in the shower. Dago, from USA ~ 18th Dec 2012

funny palace was great to us, even though we arrived late the staff were understanding and helpful. it's small but we were out most of the time so that wasn't an issue. the bathroom on our floor smelled of urine for some reason, but the actual facilities were clean and they have a towel warming rack! good experience over all, definitely recommend. I couldn't have been any happier with our stay at the Funny Palace. The owner, Mabri, made us feel right at home immediately. He mapped out our whole trip for us, upgraded us to a room with a private bathroom (no extra charge!) & even gave us a free bottle of wine & discounts to local restaurants! The room was beautiful, air-conditioned &, to my surprise, cleaned every morning. You can't tell that it's a hostel from outside, making it extremely secure. I would recommend this hostel to anyone!
