The 5 bed private ensuite is really maximising every mm of floor space. The 4th bed could only slide out 2/3 width.With the 5th bed in use, the bedside table had to be moved into the bathroom/toilet.Nevertheless, hostel is clean and staff friendly. Loi, from Malaysia ~ 18th Oct 2011

Very nice people, but the location is terrible. I wouldn't recomend to stay at Monk Kok at all. The rooms are small and if you don't have a window you might have problems due to the lack of fresh air. Read Owner Comments Irma, from Germany ~ 2nd Sep 2011

This hostel is located close to the Mongkok train station, just 1 street across the exit. The hostel is a family business and it emphasize on cleaniness and security. I stayed in a single room and its pretty comfortable. Hongkong real estate is very expensive so you can't expect a spacious layout. I stayed in the hostel for 8 nights and I enjoyed my stay very much. Mr Tsai, Kitty and Cherry made my feel at home and assisted me with my travel plans. I even received free medication when I had my s Shu Qi, from Singapore ~ 19th Jul 2011
