Green House - Taksim in , Turkey

For a young person very used to traveling, this hostel is great. Sure, it's a middle eastern style shower (just a hose you hold with one hand) and sure, there is an insanely dangerous flight of stairs to get to most rooms, but Talaat (the owner) is nice and helpful, and the place is safe and well-staffed. I would definitely return, and definitely recommend, but if you want something 'posh' this may not be right for you. Kamyar, from USA ~ 22nd Jun 2012

I had a good time at Green House for 3 nights in the beginning of June. The owner,Talat,was very friendly and fun. Location was also good,close to Taksim square,but the place was pretty quiet so good for sleep at night.Bed was confortable,and clean. Negative point was that the keys for the female dorm(6 beds) were only two,so you have to pick up and drop off the key everytime you go out/come back.(or is it normal in Turkey?)
