H.I. Boston Downtown in Trogir, Amerika

The 6 bed dorm rooms were EXCEPTIONALLY small. The ladders to get to the top beds did not reach the floor and were very unsafe. The water in the showers were ice cold all 3 days I stayed there. The hostel ran out of lockers to purchase, so if you decide to stay there make sure you bring your own!! WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the quality. Jena-Christine, from USA ~ 10th May 2012

The staff was really helpful on the phone about the hostels amenities and recommending restaurants.One staff member recommended I go to Boston Fine ARts Museum on my last day, and they would let me check my bag during my visit and get right to airport afterwards.It was amazing.Staff always friendly and made bills for change to use internet.Breakfast was really good.I wished I would have known in advance I would need a lock for locker, I could have brought one, so I bought one there. We had a fantastic time! The facility itself left a little to be desired - the room was very cramped, the hot water was hit or miss - but we got it for cheap and we're easy to please :) The staff was so remarkably kind and fun. There are tons of free activities to do, and it was great to meet different people from all over the world. The location was excellent it's right by Berklee, so the area has a very fun, young, indie vibe. We would DEFINITELY stay here again! Highly recommended! Caitlin, from USA ~ 17th Apr 2012

In general I had a great stay. I do have one concern. I was sleeping late one morning and the cleaning lady came in and i heard her go back out and tell a staffperson a cleaning man perhaps, to be quiet someone is sleeping. The man sounded African American but i cannot be sure. he stated, what do i care? it's time she's up. quote. so there is a gentleman working at Boston HI who is quite rude, inconsiderate, and i heard him being very loud on more than this occasion. the worst hostel i have ever stayed. the dorm is freezing to death, the bath water is too, got a cold while stay. Lobby is extremely small, what even stupid is you have to keep your receipt and show it to the receptionist every time you enter the hostel...I mean, they can simply install a locker to avoid such stupid activity.
