This is a fairly good hostel. On the negative side, I must say that the shared bathroom was not spotless and the breakfast was a bit boring (I prefer eating savoury stuff for breakfast, but that is me!). On the positive side: We were immediately welcomed by the owner Gaston, who is a really kind, funny person, and the rest of the stuff. They create a lovely, familiar atmosphere that really does make you feel like at home, and you end up making lots of friends! Claudia, from Italy ~ 21st Feb 2012

some minor negative points: the quote was not at all clear. the arrival was a little bit stressful... no credit card were accepted but for cars they are.. no transfer to the airport could be arranged, but i was a littlebit late. The BBQ/Asado was not bad but not the best i had eaten in a hostel in Argentinia. some positive Points the young Gaston is a great guy. has fast internet and a lot of computers. The staff is very helpful for arranging tours. (Maybe a little too helpful sometimes, but its no problem to say you are not interested). The breakfast included is very nice and there are good kitchen and internet facilities. Read Owner Comments Minna, from Denmark ~ 13th Jan 2012

The hotel owner and resident Gaston sat down with me the first fifteen minutes I was there.He poured me tea, went over a map of the area and offered me excursions but did not push them on me.He shared his wine with his guests at dinner and is an all around good person.The hostel he runs is safe, clean and cozy.Conveniently located right next to the beach and downtown.15 minute walk to the bus station.Highly recommend this place.
