I think I got bed bugs. The heater didn't work. The window was cracked and it was freezing.

I liked Travellers Motel. I loved St Kilda, it's a really independant young neighbourhood. The staff were fantastic as well, really happy to help. The crowd here is quite a bit older than most hostels, half of my room worked in Melbourne and had been there for a few months, there were not many people just planning on staying there for a week and getting on the piss.

I stayed here for a week and had a great time! It has a nice homely atmosphere so you can chill out, but really close to all the bars if you want a mad one.

This hostel seems to have a strong following with people extending their stay for months as they drink and then work their way around ST Kilda. Free Wi-fi, TV's in rooms, dvd's to watch are all a great bonus, if you want to easily meet lots of people who are up for all nighters then this place could be perfect.
