I have stayed here a few times, and I can testify that Alberto and the other staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is truly great. La Casa Vieja is near the Sevilla Metro (Subway) stop, and taxi stands are also near by.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Vieja. Conveniently located to the metro (literally 100 steps away) makes this a safe, secure place from which to base all your activities in and around Mexico City. The biligual staff are extemely helpful and knowledgeable about the city. They give excellent directions! It really is simple and cheap to take the metro from the airport to the hostal. It might be better, however to take a cab if you're there during rush hour time on the metro. A way to hel

The hostel is not in the heart of town, but it is really close to the metro Sevilla which can take you all around. Don't expect too much action or nightlife nearby, only a taxi ride distance or the metro before 12:30am. The place is small and the staff is very nice and helpful. You can have internet for US$ 2,00 one hour and they sell beers and other drinks. They give you a locker and a towel and also free breakfast (toast, butter and coffee, milk). very friendly, it has a great family feel and the staff is very helpful. the hostal is right next to the sevilla line which makes traveling through the city very easy. i would recomend to anyone coming to df!
