this is a beautiful hostel! i stayed here last year, and enjoyed it so much I came back again this year. It's a gorgeous old building, on a pretty street, conveniently located, with nice common areas, a sunny breakfast room and a beautiful big patio with a garden, and a ping-pong room at the back of the garden. The only drawbacks are (like in most hostels), the beds are not incredibly comfortable, and the fridge smells bad!!!

Hostel is inside an old family house of a wealthy Argentine family. Retains the character and the funky bathrooms. It's small so it's tranquil. All the staff speak English and the place is kept immaculately clean. The location is exceptional. Large European supermarket across the road, Plaza Independencia 3 blocks away and it's one block to Las Hernas for an overwhelming array of food or Mercado Central for ultra fresh produce not available elsewhere in town.
