Hostel Chez Jean Montréal in Stockholm, Canada

Arrived at Hostel Chez Jean Montréal (4136 Henri Julien) to discover that despite paying the deposit and receiving a confirmation email that they had over booked and were not able to accommodate myself and a friend. Very disappointed in lack of consideration for customers. Were relocated to another hostel 20 minutes away on Lorimier near Parc Lafontaine. Nadine, from Canada ~ 2nd Aug 2011

I showed up on the night of my reservation at the time of my booking to find the caretaker asleep (as we'd spoken on the phone, I was to wake him) however, I could not. I found the accommadations to be not as described. The "private" room I had booked was nothing more than open space (no door, no barrier) in the loft of the living room with 2 beds and a couch to sleep. I will not return to this hostel.
