I ALWAYS have a good time staying at Rio!Location, Bar, Staff, and Price are all great and it is the place I stay while in Playa.On the downside...I really haven't seen any upgrades in the facilities over the years.And this was my 5th visit.Specifically, the beds are horribly uncomfortable...to the point that my body ached every morning.I'll be back staying again in the near future...and hoping things are a bit more comfortable for sleeping.Thanks for everything! This is a place for the partiers. Don't expect to get to sleep before 4am with the partys going on and music blaring from the bars nearby. This is definitely a youth hostel, so I loved it. There are much quieter hostels if you actually want to sleep not far away. The WalMart is a three block walk on the same street. Kori, from USA ~ 11th Jan 2013
