Great experience! MY room was more like a hotel than a hostel, with two twin beds pushed together (I'd paid for a single room) and a very large bathroom with a HUGE shower. The bathroom was impeccably clean - not even a hint of mildew in the corners. I was on the ground floor and worried that noise from the street would bother me, but since it's down a side road, it wasn't an issue. Great atmosphere, the five-euro breakfast is totally worth it. The hostel lost our reservation for the first night so they had to put us into a 8 bed dorm instead of the 4 bed private we had booked. Then when one person in our group used the shower the bathroom flooded and spilled out into the room. When the bathroom flooded they tried to move us to another room but there were no mattresses on the beds so we just ended up staying the the room with the flooded bathroom. The place was a good value for your money. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were nice. Defenitly not the place if your looking to meet cool people to go out in town with. Hotel Van Gogh is actually a hotel with multiple beds stuffed into every room. It is incredibly clean, has beautiful accommodations and is centrally located.
