Hostelling International - San Diego, Point Loma in Bled, Amerika

I didn`t like the bed. The stretch sheets kept coming off so we would sleep directly on the mattress. Other than that, this was an excellent hostel with great kitchen facilities and helpful staff..

I love the setup here, especially the courtyard area with the hammock, tables and Christmas lights. The bathroom was very clean and the private room was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

I liked that the hostel was quiet and alcohol-free.The room was clean and the bed had a comfortable memory foam mattress.I didn't participate in the free breakfast or activities, but I appreciate the option.There are shops and restaurants within walking distance.The hostel is secure with 24-hour key card access.Free street parking.There are computers with Internet access, but they cost money.I liked the clean washcloths in the bathroom instead of disposable paper towels.

As other people have said, it's not super-convenient to transit (the bus doesn't run evenings or Sundays), and planes do fly low overhead. But the people are nice, the kitchen is great, the neighbourhood is mellow (not exactly hipster central), and the beds are extremely comfortable. Especially good for old guys like me.
