This a a typical Japanese "business hotel," not a hostel.But ensuite bathroom and location near subway and JR make this a decent place from which to explore Osaka. Neighborhood a little dilapidated but close to famous kushikatsu eateries.I'd stay here again for ¥3300/night if I otherwise wasn't staying in Namba Eric, from USA ~ 8th May 2013

The Chuo Oasis Hotel is convienently located close to a subway stop just two stops away from Namba. The hotel has a modern look, the room was small but clean and friendly. The crew was so nice and he could speak English pretty well and also Korean. I actually made a reservation for 8 mixed dorm room, but with the same fare he upgraded my room to a single room. Maybe there were not may guests at that time, I guess. It wasn't so easy to find since the hotel is not located on main street. So I actually went to Hotel Churo Selene first and then asked for direction. Selene is much easier to find for travelers. Anyway, it's quality is great compared to cost. A very nice budget hotel, newly renovated. Location is excellent, only two minutes from the subway station. The only negative thing I have to mention is the fact that the room was around 100 degrees (38 celsius), the problem with the A/C was that it only works when you are in the room.
