10 minutes from the central station and downtown. The staff is very nice. Some rooms strongly smell cannabis smoke. Rooms are coldby night in winter because the staff switches the heaters off to save money. Jonathan, from France ~ 11th Dec 2011

The girl and I spent a great time at my home hotel. We really felt like we are home-.Service is excellent, rooms are clean, rich breakfast,perfect location 5 min from central station. Because it's classic Amsterdam house the room was very small, but it was big enough for sleeping or having a smoke near the window. The bathrooms & showers were clean and nice. They also got free WIFI. The place is located near some of the best coffeeshops in town, some are already open at 7am, 5 min from centraal and 10 min from the Dam. We spent here 5 days/nights. PRO: 1) Very good location, just 15-20 minutes walking from The Station and City center. 2) The hotel itself and rooms are clean. 3) Very good coffee -) 4) Breakfasts are good. 5) The staff is very helpful. CON: 1) Rooms, showers, WC are small, but may be the same can be said about all the hotels in Amsterdam. 2) The breakfast are the same for all the days you stay there (eggs, bread, tea/coffe, jam). 3) The ladders are Jacob's ladders :-) 3) The Zinovy & Elena, from Russia ~ 12th Oct 2011
