The japanese-style room was nice, a bit small thoug but good enough! The futon bed was very comfortable with clean and soft white sheets. There was also a japanese bath downstairs which was a great experience after a long flight. The only minus was the location, it felt a little unsafe and boring area with lots of drunks! Next time I would take my hostel from Namba if I stayed only for a short time.

Place is a little run down. It is not located in the train station, but it is close by. It's in kind of a dirty part of town, so the overall feel was not as expected. The tatami style room was cool though!

A rather drab business hotel, and the rooms are tiny, but hey, you get cheap singles with powerful airconditioning.

It was an OK place. Not great, but not bad. There were not many people to meet, which was good because it forced me to get out and meet the locals. The free public bath was great!

The area is fine (I don`t know what people are worried about) and there are loads of cheap guesthouses close together(Chuo, Mikado etc). We moved to Mikado, as Raizan were full and the owner was great.

not a bad place not a great place. good value for money for japan. the communal bathing area is q large with decent sized bath and the single private shower was surprisingly available q a lot when we were there. the station is 5-10 mins to jr nanda in central osaka close to the action. staff dont speak great english but they try and are polite enough. free internet and communal area on ground floor is good for meeting other travellers.
