Hotel Taj Plaza in Agra, India

Hotel Taj Plaza allowed late checkin around 1AM. Restaurant was good food with exception thali was single serving...can get plate refilled many many times in local restaurants. Rooms have private baths....wanted to stay beyond reservation and room rates increased from 450->1100 including my flexibility to change rooms with new rate...I checked out second day Denise, from USA ~ 7th Jan 2013

Good location near to the eastern ticket office for Taj Mahal, but not in the busy and touristy area near to south entrace. Doesnt have much atmosphere, but rooms are OK and value for money very good. There was some construction on the roof so we havent tried the roof restaurant. Near by is very luxurious hotel with restaurant even for non guests, next food options are 5 to 15 minutes away. Good for an overnight before or after Taj Mahal, but wouldnt hang around for a week.
