interesting place. a little crowded with some steep steps to get to the rooms. laundry is on the top floor which was a bit of a hassle, but at least its there.
basic needs are here, kitchen, toilets, showers. The staff speaks quite good english. They can pretty much help you find anything.
if you like to have daily walks this is quite ideal. the hostel is not actually in asakusa, but next to it across the river. if you are staying 7 days i recommend renting a bike for the week it onl

It's a bit hard to find since it's in a small alley way but the place is quite alright with free internet and clean shower. The room is much bigger compared to the other place I stayed at.

We stayed in a twin private (bunkbeds) on the 4th floor.
Whilst the bedroom was clean, it was barely big enough for two people with backpacks. The walls were like tissue paper so you could hear others talking even in lowered voices and the door of the room next to us was faulty so they either had to leave it open or slam it every time they wanted to be in/out of the room. Not good when people are coming back late or getting up through the night!!
The shower room/kitchen/living area were fine b

A good little hostel. Security lockers, friendly enough staff, a goodlocation- 30 mins outside Shibuya the main going out spot in Tokyo.
Rooms air conditioned, i had no complaints, for $20 a night you definately can't go wrong. I'd stay there again.

Pros: Good location. Met lots of people. Staff very helpful. Close to main Tokyo lines and Bar 23!
Cons: Room walls very thin, where you can hear literally anything in the next room or in the hallway. Showers at an odd location next to reception.
Would come here again for worth the money!

If you have another penny to spend on lodging, ill strongly recommend you not do the Annex.
1.Bedsheets are changed everyday but have bloodstains on em (which could either mean bedbugs, or remains of pimple bursting endeavours.
2. Believe all the other reviews. Walls are paper thin. I virtually harmonized snores with my American neighbour. Sure, i snore too, but i dun get a kick out of waking people up from their sleep.
3. Staff speak great English but seem to be smiling impaired, to Asians
