My stay at Kookaburra was excellent. Quiet, clean, helpful staff, room very well appointed with fridge, handwashing basin, warm doona and hangers; well equipped kitchen and very civilised TV room

A nice little oasis away from the usual backpacker scene. Well organised and clean, with plenty of facilities and a nice sun terrace at back. Friendly and helpful owners. Stay here if you want a break from the usual backpacker, noisey kids. This site doesnt seem to have a list of the full facilities on offer here.

There were supposed to be 2 kitchens, but for some reason the owner kept one switched off all the time, which meant 4 people sharing a 2 fire electric cooker everynight.
